Hi! I’m Alicia, the creator behind LaDiyChica. My journey into edible design began at Cold Stone Creamery, where I first decorated cakes with edible images. That passion led me to pastry school from 2012–2014, followed by years of experience working in large bakeries, casinos, convention centers, high-end restaurants, and French and European patisseries throughout Chicago.

In 2020, I launched my own cake business, specializing in custom cakes. My background in pastry allows me to understand your needs from a baker’s perspective, while my current studies in graphic design help me create sharper, more vibrant images for cakes, cookies, and party decor.

I love helping fellow bakers and party planners bring their vision to life. Whether you need a personalized image or a ready-made design, I offer a growing library of characters, styles, and fonts—and I’m always happy to create something custom for you. If I don’t have it, I’ll do my best to find or design it.

All frosting sheets and edible inks I use are nut-free, dairy-free, allergen-free, and certified kosher by the manufacturer. (Please note: My printing and packaging setup is not certified kosher.)
